Documentation Before you travel to New Zealand
All passengers, including New Zealand citizens and permanent resident visa holders, must complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration form before departure https://www.travellerdeclaration.govt.nz/
We recommend setting aside some time to complete the online form. You can start your declaration up to 28 days before you fly, and return to complete it after you have your COVID-19 test results and prior to your departure.
- You will need to have your proof of vaccination and your negative pre-departure test results to complete the form.
- After you have successfully completed the form, you’ll receive a Traveller Pass to check-in and board your flight. You’ll also be asked to show your Traveller Pass upon arrival in New Zealand.
If you have any pre-existing conditions , you’ll need to provide a medical certificate at check-in, or you may be denied boarding.
